It was better than I was expecting, sure there wasn't much going on, Bart turns into a wuss, and a load of other stupid stuff, but what else could they have done to make a Simpsons film? Especially this long after the Simpons was at it's peak...

Yeah that is a fair assessment. I watched it last night on my computer and it was ok, nothing amazing but it did make me laugh on more than one occasion.

I agree with James too much slapstick point, as i prefer then completely mental comedy they do on occasion.

Overall 6/10.

Yeh the giggles from 9 year old's when someone fell over quickly got tiresome, and I longed for a joke about politics or something that they wouldn't understand..

so was the simpons movie just an animated version of 'some mothers do ave em then?' i like that show but The Simpsons is so much more than just visual gags.

I reckon there wasn't as many clever gags as there usually is. The only good one I think off the top of my head is where Flanders goes..

Yeah that was pretty good. One of my favourite parts was when Fat Tony is dragging the bagged corpse into the lake and says "I'll just dump my lawn trimmings", then Lou the cop says "hey chief I think that might be a dead body", then Wiggum says, "I thought that too, until I heard him say lawn trimmings...you've got to learn to listen Lou"

I quite enjoyed the Simpsons film,BUT I paid £1.50 for it on a knock off Dvd,I'd have been pretty disappointed if I'd paid full whack to watch it at the pictures.It's essentially 3 average tv episodes stiched together.At best.
