I remember I recommended an Emporer album to Scoob once. This was based purely on a review I had read and I had never heard any Black Metal. He went out and bought it. It was fucking Shite. Scoob has never forgiven me.

Emperor are one of the most overrated bands ever (along with dimmu borgir). Burzum are a million miles away from emperor in style.

Mind you, I'd have been unable to buy an Emperor album because of their silly logo. Literally, I'd have a hard time finding the fucker in HMV:
