Being reported that Chris Broderick (Nevermore/Jag Panzer) is to replace Glen Drover as Lead Guitarist.
Chris is a god and plays circles around Glen so if it happen's i'd be happy.
So Megadeth...

Wonder who Nevermore will get in to replace Chris? Both bands have a revolving door of guitarists!!!

Glen's own solos are actually pretty good. I don't envy the man who has to try to work out Poland and Friedman's solos like - they're just so off-the-wall and unorthodox.
I have mixed feelings about Chris Broderick too. For a start he plays his guitar way too high and he only ever seems to wear tank tops. This leads me to conclude that he may be somewhat of a goon. He was tight as fuck live when I saw him with Nevermore but I can't really seeing him lasting with Megadeth.
In my opinion, Jeff Young was the best lead player they ever had.
Incidentally, why is Glen leaving?

I've seen 3 megadeth official UK farewell gigs now so I'm beyond giving a fuck who pretends to be a member. Just as long as they play holy wars.
Marty is god but they weren't that tight even when he was in 'em.
*And yes, you can read the bitter undercurrent that I missed out on a ticket for next month*
