Just make sure you carry your ID on you at all times. It really pisses me off when I have to ask someone for ID because "they look under 21" even though they're obviously over 18 and they don't have any ID and I (or rather, my manager who I send them to) has to turn them away. Bloody fools!


why do you ID them then?


Because if I get caught by the secret ID police not ID'ing someone who looks under 21 (it's happened in my pub before quite a while ago to someone else, so it is real), I get fined £80, the pub gets fined something like over a grand, and I probably lose my job.
