I saw Bjork live this eve and it was incredible. I can't be bothered to say anymore about it though. But what a lovely crazy woman, her voice nearly made me cry.

In that case you should seek out the album Homogenic, a lot of her albums are pretty hard to get into and I found that the easiest and most wonderful so far. Very nice indeed. Joga and Batchelorette are my favourites off that one, both of which they played last night and they were both unbelievable, with a 10-piece brass section instead of the strings that are on the album.

Personally I think Bjork is overrated she basically gets paid for begin werid and I do that for free.

I saw Björk many year ago at the Phoenix Festival. A 20 foot scaffolding pole that was holding up some orange cloth on the stage fell ON TO the stage just behind her from about 30 feet up and she didn't miss a beat. Pretty cool gig.... just not very metal.

The road crew came running on and it was all keystone cops and they tried to get the pole and a ton of clothe out of her way.

A friend of mine saw her in London on Thursday, sounds like it was a good show, I'd love to have gone.

Iceland is just a thoroughly horrible concept in general.

Not that I've met anyone from Iceland, but I have met people from the Faroe Islands. They were complete dicks. I was making jokes about them all being whale-killers so one of them said 'Yeah? Well at least we don't kill Iraqis!', to which I replied 'I don't care, I prefer whales to Iraqis'. The person to whom I had just replied, probably a sufferer of small man syndrome, took offence and said that I was racist. He was shouting 'You racist CUUUUUUUUNT!' at me all night in the pub (we were in the pub because we'd been watching the Scotland - Italy game) but I eventually got him kicked out by just sitting there and laughing at him until he was screaming his lungs out.

He was waiting for me outside and he was shouting to his mates 'You'd better keep me away from this guy! I'm going to kick his ass. The racist CUUUUUUUUNT!' And I was all like, 'Yeah?! Come on then you wee poof!', and he was all like 'I'm going to kick your head in!'. This continued for some time until the bouncers outside the pub told him to move on. I mooned him and went to the chippy feeling dead proud of myself for pissing off a foreigner.

In summation, pretty much everything with an affiliation to Denmark, Brian and Michael Laudrup aside, is shite.
