Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

Thank the Police coming straight from the underground...

You are half right. Strong Ale is good, Strong lager is shit!!! Most strong lagers taste too much of chemicals, and are not smooth or pleasant to the taste buds. Owd roger over special brew any day of the week!!!!

*awaits real-ale snobbery*

I'm off to Estonia for two weeks so I'm hoping to get plenty of rarer beers tried and LOTS of proper vodka brought back.

To be fair it is all about the ales, as that stuff tasted strangly of bleach.

Special Brew is the worst alcoholic thing I've ever tasted. Strong ales are the goodness. I think I tried some sort of super Fullers ale that was 9% or something (ESP or something along those lines) and it wasn't half bad.

However the best ale in the world (of a normal strength) is Golden Glory.

That's fullers Golden Pride. It's a Barleywine, which funnily enough, is not a wine but a beer.

Strongest i ever had was Special Brew and it tastes like i would imagine rocket fuel tastes. I swear i started going blind and i only had 1 can.

Apparently Duvel is a lager which has to be tried and is 9% but i am too much of a big girl's blouse to try it.
