this gig was amazing.i was probably the youngest person there

a punk band called "dirty love" were on first.fronted by a 40yr old female who was snotting everywhere and featuring such girly songs as "you suck" and "£100 and hour" it was quite a sight to see.charming behaviour from the voluptous shameless chick.
it feels kinda embarrasing but at the same time you know you still would if you could(bit like madonna)

and these old timers in the crowd knew how to have a laugh and could certainly show us youngsters a thing or two on how to have fun.
it was like being in a time warp for me.
next up were tokyo dragons, thier last ever show.not bad, kinda like a heavier version of foo fighters i suppose.
finally.the band i "came" for

my god they are sexier than ever.seeing them in person was amazing.they are petit/smaller than i imagined and being 2008 they look even more stunning than in their early pics in thier 20s from the late 70s/early 80s,as their fashion, make up and hairstyles etc have progressed/modernised over the years.truly stunning!
considering they are in thier late 40s/early 50s,they can still really rock and play a great show.
Jax Chambers was in a leather boob tube and clearly being photo'd the most.i personally prefer Kim Mcauliffe as my dream rock chick

it was a nice change to see some beutiful ladies onstage instead of grizzly/scruffy males all the time.
anyway after the initial drooling,i got down to some serious headbanging as they played a 1hour set and did a 3 song encore.
they played plenty of killer tunes from the new album which was unfortunately put back till october

so i couldnt grab a copy(at least they will possibly be doing another album launch though

)
i still managed to grab some shirts off the merch stand.
so many pervs in the audience just wouldnt put thier cameras/mobiles/pda's away to the point of annoyance.how many photos do they need?i didnt take any pics as i wanted to appreciate thier "talent" ie:actual musicians who have been playing almost 30yrs and can stillreally belt out some tunes.some of my faves were "race with the devil" "demolition boys" yeah right".all classics.
some of their young and pretty, teenage daughters were there to support.
i couldnt imagine my mum doing rock gigs.
also due to the various line up changes/reforming over the years it meant that the vocals to the songs were shared by the three guitarists, giving a nice balance to the set.
also(im not kidding)they announced they are teaming up with Lemmy,Dio,and the foo fighters to release a christmas collaboration of "rudolph the rednose reindeer"......hmmmmmmmmmmm

lets hope its for charity or somethin'
