Bloodstock Changes

As you can see from the above announcement the Bloodstock festival has seen a couple of major upheavals. This years indoor has been cancelled, and the open air event has been put back to Aug 16/17/18
Testament will now headline the THURSDAY NIGHT.
Other confimed bands include Lacuna Coil (shite) Arch Enemy,Dream Evil and Wolf.
At the moment there seems to be no news as to whether original headliners Blind Guardian are still playing, but it seems unlikely

Quite glad about the changes to be honest. I don't have to miss Testament now (I'm seeing Ozzy/BLS the same night as the original scheduled date).
Hope that Blind Guardian do show up for it, but like you said, it does look unlikely.
The good news though is I won't have to pay out for three separate festivals now. I can pick the best days of Download and BOA and get day tickets or whatever deals are cheapest.

Wow, this is pretty major. Anyone know why it was moved? I'm glad Testament are still in it, the other bands I'd go for at the mo would probably be korpiklaani (who are still playing) and blind guardian (who i'll see at Wacken anyways). But now dream evil have been announced, I'm pretty much there. Not too bothered about arch enemy or inflames... Or lacuna coil for that matter.. :?

Dream evil though

I saw Dream Evil twice a couple of years ago supporting Saxon and they cracked me up. The singer strutted around the stage like a particularly camp Madonna impersonater and the drummer had a Hitler style haircut and moustache. Unfortunately, the tache actually made him look more like Charlie chaplin than old Adolf.

They do have some top tunes in that book of heavy metal though.
