Apparently my awesome A Level History teacher came out with one of his classic put downs regarding this the other day (so my brother said, who now has him).
One of the class jokers was on about the LHC at the end of the lesson, and about how black holes absorb everything around them, and he said to his friend "I'm a black hole!", then as the teacher was leaving the class he turned and said "you're not a black hole, you're an ARSE HOLE" and left the room cackling at his own joke as usual.
That guy was the best teacher ever!
