I just find Testament and Overkill the most boring generic chug thrash I have ever heard, I hate the vocals too, neither bands (in my opinion) have any unique qualities and the vocals are only unique in the way that they annoy me so much I cant even listen when they come in. Some riffs are ok but I just prefer Euro thrash and some more grimy US bands like Dark Angel and Morbid Saint.

I agree with Testament but not overkill.
