Simba's a pussy compared to Mufasa. Then again, anyone voiced by James Earl Jones is going to be the hardest man (or animal) (or Sith Lord) alive. Apart from in Episode III.

Mufasa vs Shere Khan is the real question.

Hmmm, yes that is indeed a real question. However, Mufasa isn't scared of fire, so I think he'd win.

It truly was horrible to watch Mufasa get killed. I love Jeremy Irons but he must be a bit of a tosser if he could actually go through with recording that.

You're right, it upsets me a great deal to even think about that moment. You know what, I can't even believe Disney wrote that when I think about it now. They'd never do something so horrific these days with their cows and chickens.

Disney have made some horrible films. I mean, in Pinocchio boys turn into donkeys and that dog gets crippled by the dog warden's van in Lady and the Tramp. I suppose they are better films than the feel-good romps (TEE-HEE!) that Disney have put out in recent times but I'm surprised they got away with some of what they did.

I'm sure other fucked-up shit happened in it too. What became of the back-stabbing fox? Was he murdered by the whale or something?

According to Wikipedia, James Earl Jones's voice isn't used in Episode III, or at least not to his knowledge.

Rumbled.

Anyway, I could believe that. I mean, someone who had, at that point, been known as the voice of Darth Vader for 28 years or whatever would have refused to do the ridiculous 'NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!'. What a horrible scene.

Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

Is that the one from Conan when Arnie grows all buff by pushing the cog thing?

Really? I remember reading a million times before the film came out that he had returned to do the almighty voice. And it really, really sounds like him! I must dig out the DVD at some point and have a look at the end credits.
