essays do indeed suck.

I have to read a 500 page book before tomorrow and im on page 30 something...I also have to do a 1,500 piece of translation creative writing which is for thursday and I have no idea what I'm doing...(hence I'm here avoiding). Then I have to find 3 people and start my presentation with them which is for next wednesday aswell as reading another 500 page book and a very very VERY long poem. Then after the presentation I have to start the essay that I have done the presentation on.

Yeah, I had 5 hours worth of essaying to do in the holiday and I couldnt be arsed.

Pft, this thread is softcore. I've a 10,000 word dissertation (not including data...) to submit for linguistics by April. Not too bad only I've got to secure interviews with about 40 mentally-challenged kids which has a lot of legal crap tied up in it.

The annoying thing is this is going to eat up my whole Christmas, bah. And this week I've got a 3000er to do on Film Noir, but that shouldnt' be too bad because it's kinda fun...

I have two more essays due in in a couple of weeks, four days apart! I also have to do a report on a journal article, though that should be piss easy.

The thing is this week is 'reading week' for me, which is means we have no lectures so we can...do reading. Unfortunately, by removing lectures they have removed the only structure around which I order my timetable, so the chances of actually bothering to go into the library are even slimmer.

So it's all their fault!

Haha, same, only because one of my lecturers decided to miss two weeks of teaching a while ago she kindly told everyone she's rescheduled them for reading week Thanks a lot for that...

Not so bad for me 'cos I live down the road from uni, but annoying for people who wanted to go home to 'read' for a week
