It's not on until April, but unfortunately for me it coincides with AC/DC and the Mutant tour, so I won't be able to go. WAAAAAAAAAAA!!!1

I meant the Lord of the Rings one, I could make it to the Star Wars one still! But if you go to the LOTR one as well, maybe have a wizard's staff for me. Or the sword of the kings. Anduril, flame of the west, forged from the shards of Narsil!

I wonder if the "beautiful blonde man with the lovely face" will be there singing 'Into The West' - I really am a sucker for that song.

That song is amazing, but it's only the Fellowship of the Ring that's being shown, so I imagine someone lovely will be trying to do their best Enya impression, singing 'May It Be'. Which is also lovely. Into The West is at the end of ROTK. All the ending songs for the LOTR films are amazing.

Ah I see. Well that Enya track is amazing too, so I'd probably still cry. So what's the Two Towers song?

Tidy. My ex used to sing that song to me, including all the parts in Elvish. Tidy.

It's 'Gollum's Song' by Emiliana Torrini, she sounds a bit like Bjork. It's a dark haunting lovely song indeed. Fucking hell, I hope they do the same thing with Two Towers at the Albert Hall, imagine the battle of Helm's Deep, crikey!

Re: STAR WARS CONCERT!!!
although i never got into lord of the rings/star wars im still really excited for everyone on here who is going to this.i can imagine it will be spectacular.
ive seen the shaolin monks display in croydon and a peking opera display in crawley(basicly a martial arts/dragon and lion dance/acrobat show with a live traditional chinese orchestra.)
anyway its such a joyous thing to see the things which interest you on the big screen, bought to life and happening in front of you.
even the terminator 3D show/ride at universal studios is amazing no matter how many times you see it.
maybe if a Matrix show were to happen id be up for that.
shows on ice though....no thanks, kids stuff.
also seeing Bottom "weapons grade y fronts" live in croydon was awesome.

haha, yeah,i know what you mean.its like im gonna be a martial artist from this day forward and then a few days later youre like nah,i can do it all already in my mind, why practice it

however i didnt have any spears to push my neck against or any pots to break with my head so i couldnt really get practicing effectively.
