Roadrunner's whole 'lets re-release an album thats only 6 months old with a few live tracks and a slipcase' thing really pisses me off.

if you notice, that band will probably be touring around the time of that re-issue, and in order to get stores to stock adequate quantities in the citys the band are playing, it has to be seen by distributors/companies as a "new" and different release to the last, so they'll have more than just 1/2 copies of the un-special edition.

To be fair, Roadrunner have been quite good recently and released both special and ordinary editions of their new albums at the same time (Down, Heaven and Hell and Opeth for example). Those reasons you gave Ol seem to make sense indeed though, that's something I never realised, and it's a bit of a shame that's the way it is. But it's still annoying for the fans I think when they get excited and buy an album on release date, only to find out a few months later a nice bonus edition with lovely things is coming out.

Okay. That is much better than the last song and last album by a clear mile. Im pretty shocked. But i still dont fully like it. It sounds very RIP. It seems to be mixed terribly. Im sure that will get on my nerves more and more.
