I want to see Annihilator only slightly more than Trivium, so I'll give it a miss.

spent last night trying to chuck my bird
she was clinging to my leg like a homesick turd
'Your tits are too small, and your legs are too short,
I want a fit bird from the Sunday Sport!

There are about 4 good songs on each of the first two Annihilator albums and I doubt they'll play them.

i might go because the piss throwing will make the price more worthwhile. We can spread the word of real thrash to the Trivium fans and help bring an end to the reign of shitty thrash-worshipping metalcore.

I'm not denying that, I'm just saying I have very little desire to see the band live!

ive got my tickets to bradford. I aint a trivium fan, but it benefits both bands on this tour. One Annihilator get to play to 1000's of people that dont know them and build themselves further in the uk and two trivium get to be seen playing with a legendry thrash band. Also as bad as it seems, every thrash band in the uk has to have some respect for trivium for calling themselves a thrash band, cos as bad as it might sound they are getting the kids back into thrash and people will listen to them and say fuck man i like thrash and then start to look for the other thrash bands in the uk at the moment, which speaking from my own exsperiance is exactly what their doing. Yeah trivium arnt a proper thrash band but they are doing alot to re-establish the scene and i respect them for that, in order for the scene to progress the mainstream have to get involved, espeaciallly people like kerrang and metal hammer, or if not the bands around at the moment will not be able to get the financial backing to exisit in 10 years time, and im pretty sure most thrash bands that have built up an sort of status will agree as touring/giging/recording is exspensive as fuck at an amature level let alone a professional level which cost 10's of thousands. So im all for this tour, plus i listend to the new trivium song the other day and it is a big improvement on what they've previously done, the guitar sound does have a very jeff waters feel and the singer sounds like hetfield, if theyd loose the gay harmonised chorus's they would be a thrash band, but then annihialitor have quite a lot of harmonized vocals on thier later stuff for example the end of bled. I reckon this tour will be awesome and benifit the uk thrash scene a lot. So well done to annihilator, its good to see them doing so many uk dates, as apose to playing only london and one other place if they did a headline tour.
