Def Leppard - Heaven Is
I love it how the recent Leppard bashing on here has made me realise how much I love Def Leppard. I've not listened to them this much since I was 15.

Bully for you. I don' think they are a bad band, just hardly warrant the insane admiration that you seem to place on them.
Since i got tired of waiting for lewis to lend me Gary Numan's Replicas i bought it and it really is a fantastic album.

Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

In the context of 'Bands Iain Admires' it makes sense: Daft Punk, Def Leppard, Duran Duran, Fleetwood Mac, Level 42, Radiohead, Sheryl Crow, The Cult, The Eagles, The Smiths, Whitesnake.
All great.

Out of all of them i would only really listen to Mac and The Eagles.

Hardly, i am not saying the other are not any good (although some of them are pushing it a bit). Just that mac and the eagles are noticeably better than the others.

Are you 20 or over? If so, that would have been the source of the better answer. I disagree in the strongest possible terms about Fleetwood Mac and The Eagles being noticeably better than the others. Whilst they may have longevity on their side, Duran Duran are clearly better than both, as are The Smiths. They have better 'Best Of' albums for a start.

It's only spam if you don't include a song - you'd have thought someone would have spearheaded the campaign to get a Now Playing bit in the post-reply thing, but nae.
