Haha yeah the band said that was a great pit and made up for an average turn out.

I was pretty monged from partying since Friday and having fuck all sleep since it was my birthday weekend.

I almost got KO'd at Exodus in 2006, was pitting and headbanging and i got shoved in the back across the pit whilst still headbanging, then crack! I'd been shoved straight at someone else who was bangin and collided head first..... i still have a scar! Seems like I've missed more mental gigs!!!

During a Virus gig a few months ago down at the Rock Attic in Streatham, one of the Sigil lads started started swinging on some bar holding up the PA speakers and the bar broke in the middle, if our bass player was standing any closer would have gone straight down on his head... that was fuckin' funny!!!

A few peopleo n here already know this, but when I was 16 i got hospitalised at a Slayer gig

Basically I was pissed as shit, and I'd been stood up fron through every single band (thi was Unholy Alliance 2, so I stood up all day whilst in the queue and through about 5 bands) and Slayer came on. proceeded to break three of my ribs via mass crush nto the barriers, but I didn't even notice - then I thought 'Angel of Death, last song, I'm checking out this wall of death'. Big mistake, I picked the wrong fucking side - i.e. the side that didn't have 30 yr old built-like-brick-shithouses biker dicks with baseball bats

I woke up in hospital the following day with two chipped teeth, a dislocated shoulder, a twisted ankle, two broken fingers, a broken nose and the aforementioned three busted ribs. Wors part was that I had a gig to play that night. I've hardly ever gone into a pit since.

His name was Viktor and he was off his fucking head that night, never seen him since. He tried to get me to wear his white silk scarf but it was dripping with sweat so I declined.

yeah i havnt had a proper pit accident but i stay very careful when im moshing, mostly dont want any hand/ arm breakage

During Slayer I managed to elbow my best friend front tooth out, went to see if he was ok... Then Angel of Death came on and we both went "jriekobnwjkbnwrjklv" and a elbowed him in the eye.

The funny part was his folks had been on holiday all week and due back the day after the gig. So in the morning they got to the house they thought he had been mugged.

i dont normally pit but i was buzzing out of my skull at the megadeth gig back in feb, i was in the pit for that and some chick tried to claw my eye out...dont do drugs!

Biohazard, 95, Astoria, first ever mosh, shat myself and ran away, Evan Sienfield shouts cirlce pit, i didnt know what it was and i lost both my legs!

Municipal Waste at the underworld was insane to the point Waste werent enjoying it, got a bit out of hand really, Phils pedal board got broke from people running in front of him and diving but people werent even waiting for eachother to go they were all going at the same time and on top of eachother so the people underneath them couldnt even hold the weight, it just turned into piles of bodies with limbs sticking out and wiggling in the air gesturing for help, i got buried under people at one point and Rik had to dig me out of my human tomb lol at one point there was an insane circle pit and it was so packed you couldnt even run so you had to hold onto shoulder and sort of pogo around it, i tried to help some guy up who had dived into the crowd wearing a rubber ring and when dug him up from under the people i discovered another guy in the ring with him, i thought id dreamed it by the time i got home so couple of weeks later looked for footage on youtube and they were on it diving into the crowd wicked

oh and yeah i think that was the same Testament gig cos they had some one from the old line up come back so they were playing loads of old stuff, wiked gig

LOL Biohazard 1996 my first moshpit! i was with three schoolmates never even seena moshpit just listening to story;s form the others one of em was saying stay away from the pit and the othere was going youl love it, its right up your street! go on Carl i dare you go in! my mum almost didnt let me go to that gig coz i just had me ankle out of plaster that day but i wasnt gonna miss me Favourite band of all time so naturally i wen and while i was being passed along the top of the crowd towards the pit i caught a glimps of it and i was thinking this is why she didnt want me to go to this gig! im gonna get battered! i was shitting myself til i got in it that is. Didint have much time to be scared after that, LOL. got proper stuck in man and Loved every minut. Fell in love with moshpits that day and have always loved it since, just made metal even better for me!

I remember that Dave, it was Rusty! LOL that was a Wicked night! Lot of stage diving and moshing going on that night! That was the night we started the whole Piggyback moshpit thing wasnt it? bit like jousting!

God, Muni Waste at the Underworld, got so many kicks in the face, my eyebrow piercings were tearing my eyebrow to shreds, had to take 'em out in the end, ah well.

Theres a lot of first pit experiences. Mine was watching Clutch in 2005 (id never gone in them before this). And i got knocked over and my balls trodden on. Not good.
