Yeah, I used to do pits all the time, up until i saw Megadeth and Testament in February, and some joker pushed in and floored three of us and dislocating my knee in the process. So i had to go to first aid, missed Megadeth and Judas Preist's set and then spent the evening in casualty.

This is why i am so anti-push moshing. Don't do it people. You ruin lives.

I joined the pit for the Waste when they supported The Haunted a couple of years ago. As soon as I went in I got an elbow to the mouth, which really hurt so I dashed straight back out! Had a right fat lip!

The pit for the Waste at Joe's Well a year later was fun. Mind you kit was the only place one could actually move the place was that packed!

I broke a front tooth watching Deadfall a few years ago. I sobered up in an instant. That elbow cost me £250 in dental bills and about £20 in wasted cider.

My first pit injury was slamming to The Burning of Sodom at a disco at Rock City in Nottingham in 1987. This other fella hadn't really got the hang of things, ran across the floor and smacked me straight in the mouth and knocked me on my arse. Cunt. If I ever see him again, he's dead. He was white, aged between 18 and 21, long greasy hair and wearing a Slayer shirt. Anyone know him?

Ha ha, I remember someone got something stolen from their campsite at Wacken when I went, and the poor girl had to describe what the guy looked like to Security. Long hair, black t-shirt, haha, needle in a bloody haystack!.. Full of other needles!

He's only young, it takes time to build up the radar.
Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

Thank the Police coming straight from the underground...

thats fucking brutal, did anyone see what happened to you? :/

Haha well some kindly lads apparently dragged me out of there and poured beer all over me to wake me up. Came to just as I was being dragged outside to an ambulance and then I passe dout again, so I think a fair few people saw it.

The gig I did the following day was fucking torture though. Never, EVER going to play live in that condition so long as I live. Its horrific, just don't even try.

That night bloody haunted me since, although I do partake in the occasional bit of pit action. One of my better ones was starting a circle pit at a Machine Head gig.... on the balcony.

First mosh ever, BCJ buest and blood was dripping down my arm.

After Slayer at Hammersmith last year I lost my phone but also my jaw is in quite a lot of pain for a good 3 weeks after gig, I presume I got hit in the face.

MetalBrew 07, first time seeing Evile, was so drunk fell over in the mud loads of times, backflipped off the stage and landed face first in the mud.

During Forbidden at Hellfest last year I was running fast round the circle pit when some guy fell over in front of me, sending me flying forwards, I did a super styling forward rool landing and carried on running.

These are all so boring compared to Blacktears, he's amazing.
