Well the theory about small black hole is they don't absorb enough matter so they evaporate. Also the size of which the collier is working at a tiny black hole would take around 100 hours to absorb one proton...which means it would take a very long time to destroy anything.
But if a black hole appears then it proves there are extra dimensions and if they are wrong and we all die, just think we will all be crushed into a singularity orbiting the sun....how lovely.

One thing I love about the Large Hadron Collider is what an understatement the name is! An experiment larger than the Circle Line is described as "Large"!

They did a partial firing but not the whole way around so they could test the monitoring and magnets....
