Sadly this is true and the trailer is out, it has Ving Rhymes in it again as a seperate character than he was in the re-make of Dawn....and for some reason Mena Suvari is in it (the bird from American Beauty), so it was be butchered.

Though Romero has diary of the dead coming out which is set at the start of the outbreak and is in a "Blair witch" first person style as it suposed to be students filming a movie or something....looks intresting.

Problem is that the night of the living dead is actually public domain, not sure about the others though as they had cinema release i reckon so.

Though they should do more sequeals/part-remake ala Return of the living dead and Zombi which are both unoffical sequeals/part-remakes

I know it is public domain, but fucking hell. But it must be easier to come up with a better ideas i mean it is the 21st century Zombies are not radical anymore.
