Gone for History, but it was a close run thing.I probably play it more than Dreamweaver simply because I have it on cd,Dreamweaver I only have on vinyl.Has anyone got the new reissues, what are the bonus tracks?

Has to be History. For Those Who Died is just too cool.
Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

Thank the Police coming straight from the underground...

History for me every time.
Dreamweaver is fantastic (obviously) but you just can't argue with tracks like A Cautionary Tale, Horned is the Hunter, Behind the Crooked Cross and For Those Who Died.

Love the fact that nobody has voted for Mourning...

Fragments of a Faith Forgotten! For pure evil.

A Clerical Conspiracy is my favourite song as it just keeps going and getting faster, but History as an album wins.

Out of sheer curiosity, what is a 'scenster' ? The phrase keeps on popping up here.

I was jokingly suggesting that John was trying to be cool, original and showing off his knowledge of thrash by picking an obscure Sabbat release. So I called him a scenester.

It's a complicated thing to explain really.

Erm.... that is a very famous sabbat release actually!!!! The first demo is less well known and has all unreleasd songs on it too!!! A real scenster would have chosen that!!! I go for the friday rock show session from early 86!!!

I have that too. Makes the White Dwarf Flexi seem positively commercial.

couple more true scene points there.

Seriously though, they are all out there somewhere. All those old rare stuff I mean, not the albums. Like:

Sabbat - 1985 - Magic in Practice and Theory (Demo)
Sabbat - 1986 - BBC sessions
Sabbat - 1986 - Fragments of a Faith Forgotten (Demo)
Sabbat - 1987 - White Dwarf Flexi Disc
Sabbat - 1988 - Live In Düsseldorf

Interesting stuff for sure.

I've got the "Thrashing East" vhs from 1990,taken from the East Berlin thrash festival, featuring live footage of Coroner,Tankard,Kreator and the mighty Sabbat.

Martin singing an early version of The 13th Disciple on his paper round early 80s. Is this going to get silly?
