This is what I'm thinking as well - my graduation is in July, and it seems as good a time as any to go for the chop...
You'd obviously have to go for the photo with your hair tied back if you were to keep it. I guess it would come off seeing as long hair seems to be a prerequisite for male librarians but, unless you're looking for an IT job, I'm assuming you'll be considering cutting it for job interviews and the like. It was an easy decision for me to make because I'm not a Metalhead any more. OK, I'll stick the odd song on, but never listen exclusively to Metal.
