Seriously, I don't understand how anyone who likes music can dislike Watershed. If you think you dislike Opeth, this should hopefully convince you of otherwise. Somehow it's the easiest one to get into (I think), even though it's one of the most complex (perhaps, well half of it is anyway). Maybe that's just because I listened to it about 5 or 6 times in a row when I first got it, but that's what I bloody think. That album has basically got everything that's amazing about music on it. Absolutely everything, apart from an up-tempo Iron Maiden song. But there are still some lovely harmonies.

After sleeping through them at Hellfest and Wacken I was determined to see them at Bloodstock, that night before they were on my mate's gf severely fractured her ankle and the two of them went to hospital. After I left them I considered going to bed but thought, "no, I'll go get a beer and watch Opeth"; so on my way to get a beer some crazy guy who was practically foaming at the mouth told me how great they were and that I should go and watch them right away. When he finally left me alone I went and fot a beer and then sat with Paul and Herzelililied and a friend and watched the most boring band I've ever seen, Opeth. Needless to say I feel I wasted my time.
