An anarchist society would be very nice and I wish it were possible, especially after reading the first few pages of Orwell's 'Homage to Catalonia'. However, I have very little faith in humanity and don't think it would work either, because people wouldn't allow it to work, the people of this country have been brought up in a capitalist society for too long and now we have to rely on it to survive, which is a shame. But that's what it is I suppose. Spreading the word will do more good than harm though, so it should be done.

I await another classic Caps essay on this matter...

i agree with you about communism but the difference between communism and socialism is pretty wide. I'm in favour of more state interference in important utilities such as water/trains etc higher taxes on the rich and a higher minimum wage. So that basically means im a socialist but as you can see it's hardly 'utopian' stuff, just practical policies to narrow inequality somewhat.

I was just having a laugh with my previous comment btw incase you took it the same way as Beer Can.
