FACT:did you know,bootsy was bass player for james brown?i thought you wouldnt :lol: well its true anyway.
i do like to listen to a bit of cosmic or laid back funk now and again ie;parliament/rick james/isaac hayes/bootsy collins etc.

the best slap bassist has to be mark king from level 42.(my mum went to thier gigs and played thier albums in the living room all the time when i was young)

Bootsy Collins is so great, and there's why. So is Level 42 guy, but the crowd in the video are fucking creepy. WHY ARE THEY SITTING?!

Yes Mark King is the "king" of slap bass, my dad has seen Level 42 so many times its silly
The best primus song/video is Winona's Brown Beaver
Escape From New York is an amazing film, Escape From LA is a hilarious film.

I'm sorry, but that first bit was pretty damn gay. Actually, why am I sorry? You should be the one that's sorry!

Escape From New York and LA are ace films :D Cheesy as fuck, but I can't think of many scenes in film history that are better than the basketball scene in LA, that just kicks ass! Will have to check out that Primus vid later.

It's not even about which is better, it's the fact that the video is so biased. The guy's mostly picked categories for comparison in which the PS3 appears to excel (some of which are pointless statistics - who needs 7 controllers to be wiereless from 70ft? It's not like a 30ft wireless controller has too short a range, and no one needs more than 4 controllers), and when the 360 does come out on top (namely, for me, in gameplay), he dismisses it. I made a point of commenting (spanning three comments :D) and telling the guy that videos like this are what is wrong with Youtube and the Internet.

Fuck modern consoles anyway. I have a Wii and I only play downloaded old video games on it. Its not about graphics, its gameplay thats important!

I laughed at how the upcoming PS3 games that guy is so proud of basically involve hippos and wildebeests, a Sims imitation, and some stupid toys on a skateboard. But they are clearly "more creative"! :lol:

Exactly! Nintendo do games like that, way better! Pikmin is ace :D Graphics over gameplay is an idiots choice. Tomb Raider is a great example of this, I remember when Matt got the new one a couple years ago and completed it in four hours. It looked ace but he didn't really have a lot of fun with it. Whereas the old ones looked shoddy (by comparison, good for the day), and they lasted ages! FFVII as well, graphics are horrible by todays standard, but people spend literaly months (or days if they have nothing better to do) playing that game.
